Outlift Amped, Simplified
Outlift Amped is a pre-workout supplement by Nutrex.
It claims to use clinically effective doses of each ingredient, which they do for the most part.
A couple of ingredients were dosed a little low according to limited research, and could perhaps be dosed a little higher to err on the side of caution.
Two types of caffeine are included in the formula; caffeine anhydrous (normal caffeine), and caffeine citrate, which is faster-releasing.
Theacrine is also very similar to caffeine, but your body won’t build a tolerance to it – meaning its effects don’t get weaker each time you take it.
Outlift Amped has plenty of stimulants to get you going, the other mood and focus ingredients however are either not dosed high enough (tyrosine), or not in the best form (choline bitartrate).
Overall, Outlift Amped does well for performance.
A nice range of performance-boosting ingredients are included, covering all bases for strength and endurance improvement.
Like other creatine variations, the magnesium creatine chelate version that’s used here is claimed to be absorbed better than other forms (and therefore require a lower dose). this could be a possibility, but we haven’t seen enough research to support the claims yet.
The beta-alanine dose is adequate for some effects, but could be a little higher to match the more common clinical dose.
Pumps should be decent, with a huge dose of citrulline malate, as well as cell-volume enhancers.
They also include a little funnel-scoop for convenience!
Outlift Amped gets half a bonus point for extras.
Outlift Amped does a great job across 3 out of the 4 main categories, scoring off the charts for performance.
It could have performed better for mood and focus by including better doses and forms of those ingredients.
