How We Score Supplement Formulas
A plain-language walkthrough of the scoring algorithm behind every review on SuppsSimplified.
Every formula on this site gets a single number: the SuppsSimplified Score. It is built from ingredient-by-ingredient comparisons against clinically effective doses found in peer-reviewed research.
What goes into the score
We look at each active ingredient, compare its dose per serving to the dose used in human trials, and weight it by how strong the underlying evidence is. Proprietary blends are penalised because the actual doses are hidden.
What does not go into the score
Flavour, packaging, brand reputation, and marketing claims have no effect. A great-tasting underdosed product still scores poorly.
Why grades matter
The letter grade gives quick context: an A+ formula is fully loaded, while a C is underdosed for most of its key ingredients.
